BIOGRAPHY

Graduated from the St. Petersburg Theatre Arts Academy mastering as a puppet theater artist. He is a graduate of the Russian State Institute for Cinematography named after Gerasimov mastering in non-feature film production.

Set Designer and Performer of Camera Obscura on the Nabokov’s novel (Alexandrinsky Theatre), in which "actors in the usual sense of the absent, and the story being told a variety of means — things, light and shadow, digital special effects." Costume Designer of the Tellurium, director Marat Gatsalov (2014, nominated for the ‘Golden Mask 2015’ Award).

Also designed such productions as Exhibits by Vyacheslav Durnenkov, Alaska by Portela at Theatre Doc, The Arrival Of The Body by brothers Presnyakovs, Baal by Brecht, Trash, (Most) Easy Way To Quit Smoking by Mikhail Durnenkov at Playwright and Director Center, A Little Pig and a Little Crucian after Yuri Klavdiev and Anastasia Moskalenko, G-Moll, Bitter! by Luba Mulmenko, Sasha Denisova, Andrey Stadnikov, Citizen P based on the play The Suicide by Erdmann, Teenager by V. Durnenkov at Prokopyevsk Drama Theatre, August: Osage County by Letts at the Novosibirsk theatre ‘Globus’ (nominated for the ‘Golden Mask 2013’), The Diary of a 12-year old. Piranha by Andrey Rudenko at Chelyabinsk Theatre for Young Spectators, Zhanna by Yaroslava Pulinovich at Krasnoyarsk Theatre named after Pushkin, The Delhi Dance by Ivan Vyrypaev and As I Became by Pulinovich at the Voronezh Theatre named after Koltsov, Mashenka after Nabokov’s prose at the Mossovet Theatre, Beckett. Plays by the works of Beckett at Theatre for Young Spectators named after Bryantsev, Elementary Particles by V. Durnenkov at the Old House Theatre, Novosibirsk.

As a Costume Designer has worked on productions of The Blue Fitter by M. Durnenkov at Teatre Doc, I Don’t Believe by M. Durnenkov at the Stanislavsky Theatre, The Tale of What We Can Do and What We Can't by M. Durnenkov at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, 1968. New World at the Taganka Theatre, Russian Romance at the Theatre of Nations, Wasteland by Yablonskaya at the RAAAM Theatre, Tallinn.

He participated in the creation of performances: Towards the White KAMAZ under ‘Access Point’ Festival (St. Petersburg), Alien Invasion Museum (together with Shifra Kazhdan and Ksenia Peretrukhina).
