BIOGRAPHY

He graduated with honors at the ‘G. B. Pergolesi’ Music Conservatory in Fermo, where he studied Singing under the guidance of Graziano Marchesi and Chamber Music with Elisabetta Lombardi. He then specialized at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Renata Scotto and at the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro under the guidance of Alberto Zedda.

Recently he achieved the 1st level Master at the Institute ‘Vecchi — Tonelli’ in Modena under Raina Kabaivanska.

In the singer’ repertoire are parts in mostly veristic operas: Rinuccio (Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi), Alfredo Germont (Verdi’s La traviata), Peppe (Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci), Rodolfo (Puccini’s La bohème), as well as Nemorino (Donizetti’s L'elisir d'amore), Don Ottavio (Mozart’s Don Giovanni). His concert repertoire includes tenor parts in Haydn’s S. Cecilia Mass, Mozart’s Requiem and Great Mass in C Minor, Händel’s Messiah, Rossini’s Stabat Mater and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

A participant in such opera festivals in Italy as the Reate Festival (Rieti), the Festival dei Due Mondi (Spoleto), the Festival Valle d'Itria (Martina Franca), the Rossini Opera Festival (Pesaro). His discography includes: Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle (Brilliant Classic, 2014), Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi (Glossa, 2015), Rota’s Il Natale degli Innocenti (DECCA, 2015), Tutino’s Le Braci (Dynamic, 2015). He successfully participated in prestigious international competitions, such as: ‘Ottavio Ziino’ in Rome, where he was awarded the special ‘Franco Corelli’ Prize and ‘Comunità Europea’ in Spoleto, where he won the ‘Cesare Valletti’ Prize.

He had been awarded with the 2nd Prize at the ‘Renata Tebaldi’ Lyric Contest.
