Anniversary concert-performance by Garry Agadzhanyan "Old TV"
Mephistopheles, Leporello, Konchak, King Rene, Gremin, Mendoza… — for 25 years of creative activity, the soloist of the Perm and Nizhny Novgorod Opera, the master of stage impersonation Garry Agadzhanyan has performed almost the entire world bass repertoire. The owner of a voice of rare beauty, which is subject to a wide palette of feelings - from soft lyrics to deep drama - the singer has been recognized by a professional jury more than once, including international competitions named after Mikhail Glinka and Vincenzo Bellini. High marks from critics and experts of the Golden Mask were awarded to his theatrical works: Don Alfonso (Mozart's All Women Do This) and Mag Cheliy (Prokofiev's The Love for Three Oranges).

Summing up the interim results of a successful career in opera, at a personal benefit performance Garry Agadzhanyan, however, will appear in a different perspective - as a performer of Soviet pop and jazz hits. “Give me back the music”, “Thank you”, “Beauty Queen”, “Nocturne”, “Melody”, “Lada” accompanied by the symphony orchestra of the theater conducted by maestro Mikhail Granovsky (Moscow) will take the audience into the atmosphere of the 1970s, and jazz compositions from the repertoire of Frank Sinatra - to New York in the 1930s.
